CLOTHING SIZING
Measuring tips to assure the best clothing fit.

Bust: With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Natural waist: Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Low waist: Run tape measure about 2 to 3 inches below your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips: With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam: For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

Head: Run tape measure around your head, just above the brow line.

2.Delivery

We use a courier service with estimated time of delivery between 1-3 working days (please allow 4-6 days for Western Australia) from payment being cleared or validated.

Our express courier service requires that you are at your nominated delivery address at the time of delivery otherwise a re-delivery fee will be charged to you and delay the delivery of your purchase. We recommend that you have your purchases delivered to work if you are unsure about being at home/nominated address at the time of delivery.

For delivery to PO boxes we will use Australia Express Post, with a Next Day Delivery guarantee.

All order confirmation emails will come with a tracking number and a link to the courier or Australian post website to monitor your delivery.

All purchases are carefully packaged and delivered securely and safely to you.

Outside Australia

(Standard Delivery:  10-14 working days)

We use Australia Post to deliver item/s internationally with estimated time of delivery between 10 ‑14 days of payment being cleared or validated. All purchases are carefully packaged and delivered securely and safely to you.

For International customers, you must read and accept the following shipping agreement prior to placing an order:

•You are responsible for any duties, tariffs, customs charges or additional charges levied by your country of entry.
•Furthermore, barbarellavintage.com.au is not responsible for any additional charges once the item/s you have ordered have left Australia. 
•The shipping charges will be calculated during check-out. Shipping charges do not include any individual country's customs fees, tariffs or duties. All packages will have actual value declared.
•We advise that you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you understand any additional charges that may apply.
•Barbarella Vintage will only accept international orders of $500 or more if paid via Paypal by Paypal registered users.
We advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

3. Returns & Exchanges


Please read the step by step instructions below to proceed with your return/exchange.

At Barbarella Vintage we pride ourselves on the superior quality of our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Barbarella Vintage we will gladly refund the purchase price or exchange the item/s.

All you need to do is to return the product within 7 days from the date of original delivery for customers within Australia and 21 days for customers outside Australia. Simply email contact@barbarellavintage.com.au to notify us and then return the product in its original unused re-saleable condition, original packaging and purchase receipt.

Few exceptions in our returns and exchange policy to note:

Sale item/s: We will exchange on sale item/s or alternatively a credit note can be requested Item/s purchased using a discount of 20% above are classified as SALE item/s.

Accessories: We do no return/exchange accessory item/s due to their delicate nature. All accessories are hand-crafted and carefully packaged for delivery. Accessories are well inspected prior to dispatch, please select accessory item/s carefully.

Step by step instructions for return and exchange process:

•All item/s must be in new and unworn condition. Any item/s which are considered to be "used" will be returned back to you and we will be unable to refund your money.
•Please notify us at contact@barbarellavintage.com.au within 7 days of delivery of the item/s by providing a description of the item and the reason for returning it. 
•Ensure that the product is packaged securely, we reserve the right to refuse refund/exchange for any damage to the product in transit as a result of poor packaging.
•If returning item/s from outside Australia, you must mark on the parcel 'RETURN OF GOODS'.
•Item/s  sent back to us from outside Australia must be accompanied by a Freight/Delivery number: Air Way Bill number or equivalent reference number your freight OR delivery company OR post office will issue to you. If you have any queries, please contact us at contact@barbarellavintage.com.au
•Returns must be received within 10 days from the date of original delivery for customers within Australia and 21 days for customers outside Australia.
•Return postage cost is the responsibility of the sender except in the case where the wrong order has been fulfilled or the garment was faulty, and in this instance we will cover the postage costs of returning the item/s and also resending the correct order back to you.
•We do not except returns or exchanges to our boutique locations.
Refunds:

•Where a refund is requested and approved, we will credit your original method of payment with the price of the returned merchandise (excluding shipping charges). With the exception of purchases made with a discount of 20% and above and those exceptions listed above.
•For International customers duties, sales taxes and shipping costs are non-refundable for shipments outside Australia.
•Refunds are process within 3 days of receipt of the return item, followed immediately by an email to as confirmation of  the refund.
•Alternatively, you can request an online store credit note that can be used against future purchases at barbarellavintage.com.au. Please note store credits notes are valid for one year from the date of issue and will expire on the first anniversary of this date.
Exchanges:
•Where an exchange is requested and approved we will send out a new item/s.
•If the exchange is due to manufacture fault we will deliver the new item/s to you free of charge and we will refund to you the postage costs of returning the item/s.
•If the exchange is due to change of mind or incorrect sizing you will be charged our standard delivery charge .

5. Security

The Barbarella Vintage Online Boutique is a secure site. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for secure data transmission over the internet. We encrypt all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be ready as the information travels over the internet. 

Our secure server software uses VeriSign's SSL encryption method to do this. It is the industry standard and among the best software available for secure online commerce transactions.

If you elect to submit your credit card details online, you will notice that the URL prefix (located in your address bar) will change from the standard http:// to the secure https://. This means that you are in secure mode.

Similarly, you will notice your browser's security icon (located at the bottom right hand corner of your browser window) change to either a locked padlock or solid gold key (depending on your browser make and version). You may even - depending on your chosen preferences - receive a prompt informing you that you are visiting a secure page.

This is your assurance that your browser and our server are communicating securely.

6. Payment

Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by Barbarella Vintage and you confirm that the credit card that is being used is yours. All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

All credit card transactions on the Barbarella Vintage Online Boutique are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure environment. Barbarella Vintage will not hold your credit card details on the website or our customer database.
